All rabbits will be tattooed at six to eight weeks old. Here is how to read our tattoos:
Ex. SCW4
SC= rabbitry intials, stands for Silent Creek
W= stands for year (W=2006, X= 2007, Y=2008...follows same pattern as
ADGA suggests)
4= in that litter (litter letter C) that is a doe and is the third doe to be tattooed (it's
that particular doe's own ID number, making it different than any other rabbit....)
Even numbers indicate that it is a DOE...Odd numbers indicate that it is a BUCK.
