I have been raising rabbits since 2003 but just starting getting serious about it this year.

Silent Creek Rabbitry is a small rabbitry of 13 holes. I am adding on cage-wise but not yet (we have no need for more cage space). I build my own cages and occasionally will have one or two wire cages for sale.

Mocha and Ivey are my two Californian does.

Houdini is my prized REW netherland dwarf buck. He won Champion of lightweight senior buck division this year at the country fair. Houdini won this class out of about 12 other rabbits.

Honey Bun is my senior netherland doe.

Lexi and Sprite are my two cross-bred (Mini Lop X Californian) pets. They ARE for sale.

All rabbits will be tattooed at six to eight weeks old. Here is how to read our tattoos:

Ex. SCW4

SC= rabbitry intials, stands for Silent Creek

W= stands for year (W=2006, X= 2007, Y=2008...follows same pattern as ADGA suggests)

4= in that litter (litter letter C) that is a doe and is the third doe to be tattooed (it's that particular doe's own ID number, making it different than any other rabbit....)

Even numbers indicate that it is a DOE...Odd numbers indicate that it is a BUCK.
